The entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in American Samoa. From family-owned stores to innovative startups, small businesses are the backbone of our economy.
Yet too often, these business owners face barriers that larger corporations do not: limited access to capital, burdensome regulations, and fierce competition from off-island retailers.
We call on our government to implement policies that level the playing field for local entrepreneurs. This includes streamlined permitting processes, small business loan programs, and buy-local initiatives.
When our small businesses thrive, our entire community benefits.

This is really important news for our region. I hope the recovery efforts continue to receive the support they need. Sending prayers to all those affected.
Agreed! The Pacific community always comes together in times like these.
Great coverage by Samoa News as always. It's crucial that we stay informed about what's happening in our neighboring islands.
Does anyone know how we can donate or volunteer to help with the recovery efforts?
You can donate through our official website or contact our local office. Every bit helps!
