Communities across Fiji's northern islands are continuing recovery efforts following significant damage from Tropical Cyclone earlier this month, with international aid organizations mobilizing support for affected residents.
The cyclone, which made landfall with sustained winds of 120 mph, caused widespread damage to homes, infrastructure, and agricultural lands across several provinces.
"The resilience of Pacific island communities is remarkable, but they need sustained support during this recovery period," said a representative from the Pacific Islands Forum.
American Samoa's government has pledged assistance to its Pacific neighbor, continuing the tradition of regional solidarity during times of crisis.

Agreed! The Pacific community always comes together in times like these.
Great coverage by Samoa News as always. It's crucial that we stay informed about what's happening in our neighboring islands.
Does anyone know how we can donate or volunteer to help with the recovery efforts?
You can donate through our official website or contact our local office. Every bit helps!
