New Zealand's foreign minister announced a significant increase in development assistance for Samoa, with funding prioritizing climate resilience infrastructure and educational exchanges.
The three-year aid package totals NZ$45 million and includes provisions for scholarships enabling Samoan students to study at New Zealand universities.
"Our relationship with Samoa is one of our most important in the Pacific," said the minister during a visit to Apia. "This investment reflects our commitment to supporting Samoa's sustainable development."
