The Samoan Congregational Christian Church of Utah celebrated its 30th anniversary with a weekend of special services, cultural performances, and community gatherings.
The church has served as a spiritual and cultural anchor for the growing Samoan community in the Salt Lake City area.
"Our church is more than a place of worship," said the pastor. "It's a home away from home for our Samoan families."
Former members traveled from as far as American Samoa and Hawaii to participate in the celebration.

This is really important news for our region. I hope the recovery efforts continue to receive the support they need. Sending prayers to all those affected.
Agreed! The Pacific community always comes together in times like these.
Great coverage by Samoa News as always. It's crucial that we stay informed about what's happening in our neighboring islands.
Does anyone know how we can donate or volunteer to help with the recovery efforts?
You can donate through our official website or contact our local office. Every bit helps!
