National squad begins intensive training camp ahead of regional competition.

The American Samoa national rugby team has begun an intensive training camp at Veterans Memorial Stadium in preparation for the upcoming Pacific Games.
Head coach said the team has been preparing for months and is confident they can compete with larger Pacific nations.
"Our players may come from a small island, but they have big hearts," he said. "We're ready to represent American Samoa with pride."
The Pacific Games will be held in July, featuring rugby sevens competition among 22 Pacific island nations.
